How to Purge Your Closet in 30 Minutes or Less!

Step 1: Take ALL your clothes out of the closet and drawers and storage and put them in a pile. Remember ALL your clothes.



Step 2: Go through each piece and put in one of two piles: Keep or Discard



Keep Pile = Wear consistently, Have worn within the past 6 months (exception for seasonal items such as winter coats and swimwear.)



Discard Pile = worn clothing, clothing that doesn't fit you right now, clothes that don't fit your current style, clothes you don't wear, clothes that you, "Didn't know you had." Basically, anything that is in the back portion of your drawer and/or closet.



Step 3 = Put all your keep clothes in your closet.



Step 4 = If everything fits your done, if you can't put everything back. Start back at Step 1.
